For over five years now, the Halfmoon has been hosting the prestigious "Acoustic Session" every Monday. Each week, up to nine different acts appear, mostly solo singer-songwriters, duos and unplugged bands. The focus of the night is on original, emerging talent and the standard of music is always high. The original Monday acoustic night at the Halfmoon, called "Folksville" in 1965 launched great artists such as Bert Jansch, Ralph McTell, John Martyn and Van Morrison among others.

Note to performers:
This is not an "Open Mic" night.

There are currently no more demos being accepted.
The Acoustic Session will run as normal until the end of May, after which a new night will be launched so please don't send any more demos. If you have sent one recently then email to check whether there is a slot available for you.
